School Crossing Supervisor – Part Time – Faulconbridge Public School

In this Role, you’ll
Become a Road Safety Hero held in high esteem in the community and vital to the safety of children, parents, teachers, and local motorists.
Be a familiar face around the school, touching the lives of countless families.
Shift between school zone hours of 8:20–9:20 AM and 2:30–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon.
Provide 20 hours of supervision per fortnight.
Received an hourly rate plus superannuation. You will also be compensated during school holidays (Terms 1 to 3).
About you
Community minded, reliable, and prepared to show up for your community in good or bad weather.
Enjoy building community relationships and keeping kids safe while earning a weekly wage.
Display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of appointment.
All training, uniforms, and equipment will be provided.
Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will speed up the process.

Recruitment Timeline

Talent team will review applications and contact shortlisted candidates by week commencing 2nd March 2026 for a quick 5‑10 min phone interview, followed by panel interviews.
If successful, you will progress to the pre‑employment checks stage.
Applicants who successfully pass the interview may be considered for a casual position should a vacancy arise.
A Talent Pool may be created for current and future casual and permanent part‑time positions over the next 18‑month period.
