In this role, you will ensure optimal debtor levels, minimize bad debts, and play a crucial part in our ongoing profitability and success. What will you do?Optimum debtor control of an allocated section of the debtors ledger. Following up with debtors for payments under purchase or finance agreements and/or prevailing credit conditions. Maintenance of credit limits ensuring procedures are followed and risk is minimised. Reconciling and allocating cash on accounts as needed. Expediting resolution of customers’ claims and disputes by effective communication with the relevant customers and Toro employees. Processing of deviations to normal term applications for these accounts in a timely and accurate manner. What do you need?Previous experience in an accounts receivable role. Knowledge of debt collection techniques. Experience in SAP. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential. Professional and friendly phone manner. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in Microsoft applications, Word and Excel are needed. A flexible attitude to the position and its demands are required which includes overtime when required. Located at Beverley.
