Base pay range A$70.00/hr - A$75.00/hr We are currently supporting a mining company with the recruitment of a Contracts Advisor for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will support the contract manager by overseeing project procurement and contracting activities. You'll contribute to the successful delivery of major projects, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with all departments. Key Responsibilities Raise purchase and minor works orders. Assist with procurement and contracting activities. Contribute to the development and execution of Project Procurement and Contracting Plans. Support the engagement of communities, local procurement and ensuring adherence. Review contractor selection recommendations and provide advice on award decisions. Manage the full lifecycle of project contracts, from strategy development to contract completion and project close-out. Issuing site instructions. Processing progress claims and invoices. Preparing reports for both internal and external stakeholders. What we are looking for Solid understanding of commercial risks in construction projects. Experience in a contractor, EPCM or owner's team role. Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or experience is preferred. Focused on fostering a strong team culture and maintaining a proactive attitude.
