About the Role
Join a forward‐thinking and inclusive health service committed to excellence in patient care, teaching, research, and innovation. As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will provide expert assessment, treatment, and consultation for individuals with complex mental health and forensic needs. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver inpatient and outpatient consultations, participate in clinics and case reviews, and contribute to the integration of forensic expertise across services. You will also play an active role in supervision and teaching of psychiatry trainees, junior doctors, medical students, and other team members, helping to build clinical capability and foster a culture of learning and excellence.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will engage in and, where appropriate, lead research and quality improvement initiatives that enhance practice and outcomes in forensic psychiatry.
