Expectations of the role :

• Provide specialist assessment and management of geriatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care plans.
• Participate in education and training for medical staff, nursing teams, and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of geriatric care services.
• Engage with the community and stakeholders to promote healthy aging initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

• A primary medical qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent, with specialist qualifications in Geriatric Medicine.

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
