Construction Lawyer (Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel)

Our client is a rapidly growing & innovative legal project services firm with a huge pipeline of exciting work. We seek motivated & commercial front-end Construction lawyers for Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel roles embedded in the biggest global energy & infrastructure businesses in Australia, working on specialist projects in the energy & resources, mining, transport and major projects space.
Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic commercial and legal advice to clients on major projects.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements.
- Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market.
Qualifications:
- 2-7 PQE – front-end projects / construction lawyers – or lawyers with a mix of both front and back end.
- Must be currently practising in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of construction law and contract law.
- Can independently manage complex cases from start to finish.
- Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
