Two Commercial Analyst contracts have just opened up inside the Technology function of a leading Australian insurer.
You'll be the engine behind contract, budget and invoice flow for the Technology Services and Project Management teams. Think end-to-end ownership of cost centres, SOW approvals, forecasting, and the operational rhythm that keeps a busy Tech function moving.
What You'll Do
Manage contract negotiations, load into Docu Sign, push through budget approval and into People Soft
Own invoice approvals, monthly accruals and purchase order processes
Track expenditure against forecast and budget, including monthly reporting on FTE and EDP
Support SOW approvals and contract register upkeep
Manage Tech team expenses across REM, Tech and Spend categories
Partner with Legal, Finance and Procurement on day-to-day delivery
Identify automation and process improvement opportunities (the team is moving more into automation and data support)
What we're after
Strong Excel and analytical chops, comfortable preparing and interpreting financial results
Sharp attention to detail and genuine common sense
Experience following strict procedures and approval flows in a high-volume environment
Confident handling stakeholders well above your paygrade
Fast‐paced workplace experience, can‐do attitude, good soft skills
People Soft experience is a bonus, not a deal‐breaker, easy to pick up
Background in financial services, insurance or banking ideal
People Soft experience nice to have but not mandatory

Sydney CBD, 3 days onsite
Initial 6 month contract with robust potential to extend or convert to perm
2-3 stage interview process, shortlist closing Thursday midday
