Protech areseeking Experienced Civil Labourers to perform work with our reputable client, located in Townsville, North Queensland. Protech are currently focused more on Concreting Civil Labourers, however, other positions are available. ABOUT THE ROLE
Start: ASAP
6:00am - 15:00pm Daily, Monday - Friday; 9 Day Fortnight. Overtime and Night Work as Required.
Hourly Rate: LGE 3 + Penalties.
Positions Available in Concrete and Construction.
38hrs Per Week - Overtime Available When Required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Concreting and Drains Concrete form work and reinforcement
Kerb and channel repairs / replacement - Footpath repairs / replacement
Concrete pipe laying
Concrete precast unit installation (pits, troughs, GPT's)
Storm water drain repair Construction Road reconstruction
Spotting
Grade checking Geo fabric application General Labouring Duties This position conducts general labouring duties in the civil construction and maintenance field across the Townsville City Council area. Work delivered by the team includes roads, footpaths, kerb and channel, street furniture and storm water infrastructure construction. TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Certificate II in Civil Construction or relevant experience.
Construction Safety (White Card) (30215 QLD - Course in General Safety Induction for the Construction Industry).
Current Queensland 'C' Class Licence for (Essential for Construction Labourer).
Current Queensland 'MR' Class Licence for (Essential for Maintenance Labourer).
Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation under the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, or ability to attain.
(Desirable) Plant Operators Certificates of Competency for the types and classes of plant utilised in this position.
(Desirable) First Aid Certificate.
Successful Police Check required prior to commencement.
