About Our Client
Signature Staff partners with a range of reputable hospitality venues across Mackay and surrounding areas. Due to continued demand, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Chefs looking for upcoming opportunities.
About the Role
This is an Expression of Interest for Chefs who are open to new opportunities within Mackay. Roles may vary from casual shifts and temporary placements to ongoing or permanent positions depending on client needs.
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of kitchens, gaining exposure to different environments while maintaining consistent employment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals to a high standard
Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
Work efficiently in fast-paced service environments
Collaborate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations
About You Trade qualified Chef (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Strong understanding of food safety standards
Ability to adapt to different kitchen environments
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Available for flexible work arrangements (including weekends if required)
