We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Shopping Centre Manager to oversee a portfolio of neighbourhood centres located across Brisbane North and the Sunshine Coast. This key role is supported by dedicated teams in Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Administration, providing the resources you need to manage these assets effectively and ensure the centres thrive. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail centres, ensuring the smooth running of all property and tenant-related activities. Develop and maintain strong tenant relationships, addressing concerns, coordinating lease agreements, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. Collaborate with the Operations team to oversee maintenance, security, and safety measures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and high standards for customer experience. Work with the Marketing team to design and implement strategies to drive foot traffic, community engagement, and brand visibility for each centre. Liaise with the Finance team to track budget performance, ensure rent collection, and control operational costs while maximising profitability. Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and rent reviews, partnering with tenants to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Monitor and assess market trends, identifying opportunities for enhancing the portfolio’s value through improvements or strategic initiatives. Provide regular reporting on performance metrics, operational challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Key Requirements: Proven experience in shopping centre management or retail property management, with a strong understanding of the unique dynamics of neighbourhood centres. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with tenants, team members, and external stakeholders. Strong commercial acumen with experience in lease negotiation and financial management. Ability to manage multiple sites, balancing operational priorities across a geographically diverse portfolio. Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with marketing, finance, and operations teams to achieve business objectives. Strong knowledge of retail trends, tenant mix strategies, and property management regulations.
