$70,000 - $80,000 JA & JA Concreting and JA & JA Piling is a privately owned, medium-sized building and construction company specialising in concreting for commercial works, extensions, refurbishments, and new builds. Established in 2008, the company is reputable and reliable with extensive experience. Due to demand and an increase in work that requires carpentry skills, we now seek an experienced and talented Carpenter to join the team. If you have excellent attention to detail and pride yourself with excellent workmanship, you will be required to undertake the following tasks and responsibilities: Maintain, renovate, frame and fix decks indoors and outdoors. Select appropriate timbers and materials, prior to ordering materials and preparing layouts. Ensure that all drawings and specifications are closely checked for dimensions, specifications and materials required. Assemble, nail, cut, shape, form structures and fit framework, including roof framing, if required, on floors, walls, doors, and windows with accuracy. Lay out roofing or drywalls and flooring ensuring all dimensions are accurate and levelled. May build scaffolding and other construction requirements or structures. The ideal candidate will have: A Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification/experience; and No less than 2-years full time experience in a related or similar Carpentry role.
