As a Customer Service Representative (internally known as a Sales and Services Consultant), youll be the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable support over the phone.
In your first six months, youll gain a nationally recognised qualification - the ANZIIF Tier 2 General Insurance Compliance certification, all fully supported and completed onsite at our WFI office with handson, supervised training. This structured development sets you up for longterm career growth. Once youve settled into the role and built confidence, there may be an opportunity to move to hybrid work arrangements, subject to business needs, offering increased flexibility.
This is a max-term, full-time position based in Jagera, Giabal and Jarowair Country (Toowoomba), working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Youll join IAG with extra support through our Early Career Pathways to help you build skills, connect with other early career employees, and plan what comes next. Through structured learning, personalised development and real hands-on experience, well help set you up for success whether youre a high school leaver or have limited to no prior experience.
What You'll Do
Provide friendly, professional support to customers calling our 1300 number, assisting with enquiries, policy information, and general needs.
Create strong customer connections by actively listening and understanding their needs
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requests are actioned correctly and efficiently.
Follow up on outstanding customer queries to ensure timely resolution and a smooth customer experience.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support service quality, compliance, and underwriting guidelines.
