One of Australia's critical Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Business Analyst  to join their multi-disciplinary team. You will assist with building the departments IT Business Engagement function as well as ad-hoc project business analyst work. Thesuccessful  Business Analyst  will be offered an initial 9 month contract paired with a 2 year extension option. The successful  Business Analyst  will be responsible for the below: Lead workshops and engagements with business stakeholders to elicit, capture, document and re-engineer business processes, requirements, rules and acceptance criteria Ability to create an engagement framework, business process maps, & governance documentation Act as the conduit between business and technical teams to delivery outcomes Proven ability to create productive working relationships The successful Business Analyst  will have experience in the following: Proven ability to analyse, aggregate and conceptualise discrete business requirements into enterprise level capability requirements to inform strategic direction Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to build strong rapport with business stakeholders. Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
