As an Associate Professor in Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing education, innovation and research. You will provide leadership in research, teaching, and innovation within the Department of Nursing. Your contributions will help steer the strategic direction of the department and the school, working closely with the Chair of Department, Dean, teams of academic, and support staff You will lead and innovate in research, teaching, and related activities. You will be part of designing and delivering engaging, industry-relevant curriculum across various modes, mentor junior staff, and leading the department in its development. The role includes contributing to high-level research, publishing in quality journals, securing research funding, and supervising higher degree research students. Additionally, you will provide academic leadership, course accreditation, and build relationships with stakeholders to enhance the department's reputation and impact. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: A strong national and developing international reputation with a demonstrated track record in research and publications to a high level in areas within or closely related to Nursing Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching, including a record of co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development in Nursing Demonstrated commitment to innovative education, including blended learning formats, online teaching, the use of a variety of visual and digital/innovative formats Advanced knowledge in Nursing Demonstrated academic leadership ability Further information about this role can be found in the attached position description.
