About The Role

The RPA Engineering Team Lead will oversee the technical execution of RPA projects and lead a team of RPA Engineers. The role involves designing, implementing, and delivering automation solutions to streamline workflows within Lendi Group, working within a cross-functional team. Using Power Automate, the team will build software robots and develop end-to-end automated solutions to transform manual, repetitive tasks, aiming to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve data quality, and free up employee time by automating rule-based activities.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to guide RPA projects and contribute to the company's growth. Please note, this is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical execution of engineering projects and lead a team of engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to facilitate team progress towards goals.
  • Support hiring processes and define SOPs and KPIs to enable team growth.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality and promote best practices in testing and development.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance engineering capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives, following agile methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback, communication, and collaboration.
  • Identify suitable automation technologies, tools, and platforms for process automation.
  • Implement automation solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Seek continuous improvement and innovation in automation capabilities.
  • Lead automation projects to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in a technical team, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Hands-on experience in RPA development and a strong understanding of RPA practices.
  • Relevant industry experience in automation, workflow optimisation, and process re-engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and operational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in Power Automate and/or Power Apps, with knowledge of development standards.
  • Understanding of automation trends and technologies.
  • Experience with database and scripting languages like Python or Power Shell.
  • Knowledge of RPA development and project methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web application frameworks (e.g., React).
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
