Established in 1984, Aegis Sales Service is a family-owned and operated business that provides specialised solutions to a broad range of markets including the oil & gas, medical, education, waste management, local councils, defence, aviation, and construction sectors across Queensland and Northern NSW. We provide sales & services of safety equipment specialising in height safety, portable & fixed gas detection, and process instrumentation. We are based at Geebung, within walking distance from train & bus. This is a permanent full-time position. Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Duties: Working with the company’s business systems to manage incoming and outgoing products. Prepare and process shipping consignment notes, and other shipping documentation. Ensure all hires to customers are returned and assessed prior to returning to inventory. Update company databases and relevant job software. Working with the Customer Service Team on managing all items that are out on hire. Track the movement of hire items and manage the process of returns and servicing. Receipt and Dispatch: Receive, inspect, and record incoming safety products, portable gas detection units, breathing apparatus, and other items including safety harnesses from both customers and directly for our onsite teams. Receipting incoming equipment from suppliers for client sales, repairs, and installation projects. Prepare and package products for dispatch to clients, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation. Coordinate the dispatch and receipt of items sent to third-party service providers. Work with approved couriers. Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to handle the movement of goods within the warehouse. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while using equipment. Key Skills and Qualifications: Forklift License: (not mandatory; will provide training course for the right applicant). Experience working with business systems including MYOB. Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for liaising with customers, couriers, third-party providers, and internal teams. Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and prioritise time-sensitive tasks. Keep workspace clean, tidy & well-organised. Prior experience in a similar role handling safety equipment or technical products is an advantage. Warehouse and office-based work, involving both manual handling and administrative tasks. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
