About the opportunity As part of the RF team, you will be working with a team of highly skilled RF electronics engineers to solve complex design challenges by utilising modern tools and software. The opportunity will challenge you to think out of the box and deliver innovative and cutting-edge solutions. What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following: Design, development and prototyping of new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystems RF line-up budget calculations, modelling and simulations of RF & microwave circuits using software packages Qualification testing and documentation of new products, including Antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing Ability to participate in generation of formal bids and quotations Ability to deal with customers and present design details and documentations during review Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints Take part in manufacture and test of modules Provide Engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects Maintain a focus on producing quality products and either recommend enhancements which will promote customer satisfaction or cost reductions What you’ll bring Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Extensive experience with RF modelling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modelling and simulation of RF & microwave circuits Experience with software, such as Altium or equivalent, for schematics and PCB design. Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams Experience with a production environment and product development Experience in generating engineering plans, design documentation and work-breakdown-structures Experience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specifications About Us L3 Harris Space and Airborne Systems is a Brisbane based subsidiary of L3 Harris and part of our ICI Division.
