About the Role
Provide leadership and technical expertise to construction and engineering teams to support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects across Queensland. From contract award to close-out, you’ll ensure all project milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, across civil, concrete, electrical, and specialised works.
What You Will Do:
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and support across project teams, stepping in for the Project Manager when required and ensuring alignment with project objectives and company values.
- Oversee engineering aspects of project delivery including planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and technical documentation to maintain quality and compliance standards.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations, identifying risks and implementing solutions to meet key deliverables.
- Lead and support site safety initiatives, ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures, and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication, respond to technical queries, and contribute to reporting, forecasting, and planning to support overall project success.
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ engineering experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery preferably in the Civil Engineering space.
- Experience in contracts administration and management including complex variations, EOTs and disputes.
- Experience in managing construction procurement, scheduling and cost/cash flow management.
- A recognised degree in engineering discipline or other relevant tertiary qualification.

- Safety-focused with solid knowledge of Australian Standards and legislation.
- Proficient in project management and ERP systems including MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Pronto, Aconex, In Eight, and Procore.
- Adaptable team player with excellent communication and time management skills.
