Direct message the job poster from Ark Energy Corporation Senior leader in all things People, Performance and Culture related Reporting to the General Manager – Grid & Power System, you'll lead the engineering lifecycle for grid connections—from technical studies and compliance to stakeholder negotiations and power system modelling. What you'll be doing: Leading technical studies on Generator Performance Standards (GPS) and feasibility studies for projects >100 MWPerforming steady-state and dynamic simulations using PSS/E, PSCAD & DIg SILENTCoordinating the R0, R1 and R2 testing processes and liaising with AEMO, NSPs, and key stakeholders Reviewing EPC and supplier agreements to mitigate grid-related risks Navigating the regulatory landscape through discussions with Network Service Providers (NSPs) and government agencies to deliver seamless grid integration What we’re looking for: You are a skilled electrical engineer with a strong foundation in power systems and a passion for renewable energy. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys complex technical environments, while delivering under pressure.
