Our QLD Water team is looking for Cadet Civil Drafters where you will work with experienced engineers, designers and drafters to deliver dynamic drafting solutions in a variety of engineering projects. Although no previous experience is required, we are on the hunt for passionate people who enjoy modelling and drafting and can demonstrate a commitment to continued learning. As a Cadet Drafter, you will work on water-based projects and: Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs. Work under the guidance of our Engineers and Designers on engineering projects. Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets, with detailed supervision. An ability to gain and apply knowledge of engineering drawing techniques and CAD packages. Intermediate skills in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel). Qualifications: Diploma of Engineering Technical (completed or undertaking), and/or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (completed or undertaking) and/or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (completed or undertaking).
