Job Description Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your key responsibilities include: Driving profitable growth across the business, including reviewing opportunities for cost and labour savings combined with delivering strategies to drive revenue Coaching a culture of safety, care and customer service, with over 500 staff in Australia Effective management of General Managers across Australia, with a focus on understanding data to provide recommendations to deliver strategy and profit Negotiating with unions to understand and appreciate the importance of EBA's Working closely with major customers to grow revenue and support value through effective business development Optimising systems and processes to improve efficiencies and reduce operating costs The Successful Applicant To be successful, you will demonstrate previous experience in delivering effective utilisation of assets to achieve profitable growth. Furthermore, you will have a proven track record in analysing data to provide insights and recommendations to deliver a strategy to drive revenue and profit. Previous experience with a project-based industry, including resources, engineering, construction or asset management, will be important to effectively understand operations and drive results. The successful COO will have a proven track record of coaching, influencing and engaging team members to drive performance combined with a commitment to safety and process improvement to drive profit. Furthermore, this role will involve travel around Australia (25 branches providing equipment supply with branch managers, operators, administration staff), visiting various locations and customers to understand business operations and consider how to best structure the business to exceed customer expectations while managing cost and driving profit.
