What does a civil engineer in Community Development do?

Your day-to-day tasks could include:

• Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects.

• Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.

• Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints.

• Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts.

• Utilise industry-standard software such as Auto CAD and Civil 3 D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format.

• Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.

• Conduct site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.

About You

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree.

• Passion for learning and problem-solving.

• Eligible to work in Australia.

• Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation.
