The role
The Facilities Contracts and Services Manager plays a pivotal role in the comprehensive oversight of the day-to-day operations of the college’s soft services, as well as the continuous management of service supplier contracts. Ensuring the seamless management of all facilities services and contracts is a key focus, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness, productivity, and alignment with good practices. Adherence to contractual and legislative requirements is paramount, and the cultivation of positive stakeholder relationships is integral to fostering a safe and well-functioning environment.
The role is dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer service experience while maintaining world class facilities for the college community. This demands a profound understanding of contract management and administration, coupled with the ability to efficiently lead an internal facilities team and coordinate with a diverse range of external service providers.
By fostering a seamless collaboration with both internal and external service providers, the Facilities Contracts and Services Manager will orchestrate a synchronised strategy for delivering soft facilities management services. This strategy will align with the broader Pymble Strategic Plan and the core values of the College, thus contributing significant value to the overall Pymble experience.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Capability in delivering impactful, collaborative and operational leadership
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of legislation related to commercial property management
An understanding of WHS Legislation and Workcover NSW requirements
Proven track record in effectively managing key stakeholder relationships
The ability to add value through strategic commercial business acumen
Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Proven ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and establish rapport with diverse and challenging stakeholders
Ability to introduce fresh perspectives, critically assessing current systems and champion enhancement of processes
Partner with Procurement services on enterprise procurement activities, including scoping and evaluating suitably qualified Respondents
Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated experience in the Contract Management of large-scale enterprise agreements
Ability to interpret and administer various types of agreements such as Master Services, Professional Services, Minor Works Agreements and General Terms of Trade
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining accurate contract documentation and record-keeping for the duration of the contract terms
Experience conducting regular reviews of contract performance against key deliverables and KPIs
Proficiency in managing end-to-end contract lifecycles, including renewals, terminations, and extensions
Ability to adapt and re-negotiate existing agreements to suit College requirements
Experience in working within a complex organisational structure, navigating delegated authorities, and using ERP systems to streamline processes and ensure compliance
Experience maintaining professional conduct and discretion at all times
Demonstrate a willingness to embrace the ethos and overarching values of the College
