Position Purpose To provide high level development output to meet user requirements; whilst displaying an understanding of the software development lifecycle and experienced with associated methodologies Software Development Responsibilities Design and develop solutions to meet the needs of Users Develop functional and technical design specifications that meet stakeholder requirements Liaise with business analysts and system architects to ensure integrity of design Ensuring scrum team adherence to development standards and practices Assist team lead with development estimation and planning Investigate and analyse software related issues Develop and contribute to technical procedures and standards Providing technical analysis and diagnosis services for our customers Mentor and develop skills of other developers within the scrum team General Comply with Ocean’s Code of Conduct and embrace and exhibit our Company Values: Conform to Ocean's Health & Safety, Quality Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions Positively influence and collaborate with internal colleagues to meet customer needs Continuously strive to identify and support product and process improvements, quality and team efficiency, including facilitating quality discussions What you Bring5-10 years in a developer/analyst programmer role Bachelor in IT or Computer Science or equivalent Proven experience in developing and designing new software components and solutions Proven experience in mentoring others A complete understanding of the agile scrum software development lifecycle Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent skills designing and implementing applications using different technologies. Back End Technologies: C#Entity Framework ADO.
