We are looking for a world class candidate to lead the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) strategy and evolve differentiation and incentive programs that support our System Integrators (SI) and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) across the region.
The AWS Partner Programs team provides support, governance, and stewardship to the mechanisms that enable and define the Amazon Partner Network (APN) community. Programs including, Solution Provider Program, Distribution, and SaaS Factory provide valuable investment and guidance to partners to accelerate their business on AWS.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Own the delivery of existing programs and influence the creation/evolution of new programs and benefits.
· Engage AWS Partners at the most Sr. business and technical levels to understand their needs to ensure we are building and delivering programs that enable them to deliver the right customers outcomes and build large, successful businesses around the AWS platform.
· Engage internal service team and functional leaders to ensure program alignment and support across AWS.
· Engage the partner’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
· Influence the evolution of global APN programs including requirements, benefits, and investments.
· Set and manage a set of input and output goals for the organization and provide regular and consistent reporting and analytics.
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior executive team.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a team of highly experienced program leaders who are defining the strategy and execution of our channel incentive programs. You will work across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders to evolve, develop, and land APN partner programs in APJ in a way that will accelerate the mutual business of our partners and AWS in servicing customers of all sizes, from start—ups, to SME to the largest enterprises and public sector entities.
You will continuously engage with global program leaders to influence program direction and ensure effective in-market execution. You will work closely with the AWS APJ field organization including sales, marketing, solutions architects, business development, partner development managers, solutions architect as well as our training and professional services organizations to gather feedback related to iterating on and delivering a world class program. You will be field facing and expected to interact regularly with APN partners to evangelize and collect valuable feedback on the programs you support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A people leader with 10+ years of large scale program management experience; preferably working with the largest global technology, software and services vendors. -Strong written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Clear track record of delivering innovative global incentive program (reseller, referral, distribution, etc) initiatives at scale.
Clear track record of managing complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement.
Proven ability to work with strong technical leaders and product teams with the ability to influence road maps.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional internal and external audiences.
· Highly effective in negotiation and influence in a matrixed environment.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.

APJ Level experience in managing virtual teams across different cultures and locations.

    Melbourne ( (listen) MEL-bərn) (Boonwurrung: Naarm) is the capital and most-populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. Its name generally refers to a 9,993 km2 (3,858 sq mi) metropolitan area known as Greater Melbourne, comprising an urban agglomeration of 31 local municipalities, although the name is also used specifically for the local municipality of City of Melbourne based around its central business area. During the 1850s Victorian gold rush, the city entered a lengthy boom period that, by the late 1880s, had transformed it into one of the world's largest and wealthiest metropolises. After the federation of Australia in 1901, it served as the interim seat of government of the new nation until Canberra became the permanent capital in 1927. Today, it is a leading financial centre in the Asia-Pacific region and ranks 23rd globally in the 2021 Global Financial Centres Index.Melbourne is home to many of Australia's best-known landmarks, such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the National Gallery of Victoria and the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building.
