Principal Recruitment Consultant at PRA - Recruiting all things Data, AI and Architecture An education-focused organisation is seeking a talented and detail-oriented BI Developer to design and deliver insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a great opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building intuitive reporting tools, and working with a collaborative and purpose-driven team. What you’ll do Develop and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards, with a strong focus on data modelling and DAX. Build robust and scalable data models across varied data sources. Migrate legacy reports into Power BI, streamlining and automating reporting workflows. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and solve reporting or data issues with creative, practical solutions. Administer the Power BI service, including refresh scheduling, access controls, and service reliability. Leverage tools across the MSBI stack and Azure Data Services as required. What we’re looking for Excellent problem-solving skills - able to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data challenges. Strong experience in Power BI development, including DAX and advanced data modelling. Proficiency with data integration and transformation tools (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory). Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple source systems. Strong communication skills and ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in education or public sector environments is a bonus, but not essential.
