We’re looking to expand our team with a driven, results-oriented BDM to help us continue growing and servicing the residential building market.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with residential builders across Melbourne. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, driving sales growth, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential building sector.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored timber solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar sales-focused role within the construction, timber, or building materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of the residential building market and its key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- A genuine passion for timber products and the building industry.
