We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Manager / F&B Supervisor for our new site located on the James Cook University campus in Townsville. This brand new site is still under construction and expected to be completed in the coming weeks! The successful candidate for this role will be a Hospitality superstar and a proven leader of front and/or back of house teams that provide a first class customer service experience. This full time salaried position will require occasional weekend/evening work from time to time. This is a fast paced, high energy role, so if you are looking for a new challenge, this is the position for you!Key duties Completing stock control, ordering, hygiene, menu planning, safety awareness & staff control dutiesEfficiently using Microsoft office programs including outlook, word and excel; along with company specific programsImplementing and observing relevant safety & hygiene practicesOverseeing Front of house staff and providing service excellenceAll aspects of managing a busy hospitality outlet across food and bar serviceOrganising and planning functions and events The Person: Previous experience in a similar role (restaurant, function and catering managers encouraged to apply!!)Strong computer skills (Microsoft office programs) and quick learner of new softwareProactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive and motivated with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospitality professionalsA Foodie at heart !!Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levelsStrong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards A Current Police Check, Covid19 vaccination and Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) are required for this role.
