Join Bega Group's IT Team in a newly created Cyber Security Specialist role. This hands‐on position allows you to shape and deliver our Cyber Security Roadmap, drive best‐practice controls, and build resilience across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Shape and deliver the Cyber Security Roadmap, implementing industry‐aligned controls and best practices.
Lead security operations and incident response, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and SOC oversight.
Design and maintain secure architectures, policies, and frameworks across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.
Ensure compliance and resilience, aligning with standards such as ISO 27001, ASD Essential Eight, and NIST.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a high‐performing team and driving continuous security improvement.
About You
Proven career in cyber security, with experience mentoring teams and driving performance.
Deep technical expertise in security operations, secure architecture, risk management, and incident response (AI security/governance knowledge is a plus).
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ASD Essential Eight, and NIST CSF 2.0.
Hands‐on experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and cloud security controls.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise.
