Public Sector People is working with a Sydney-based local council to recruit an ICT Application Support Officer with experience supporting front-end web applications to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is an immediate start opportunity supporting key digital platforms and customer-facing applications across council operations.
About The Role
As an ICT Application Support Officer, you will provide frontline support for the council’s front-end web applications and related systems, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, developers, and business users to ensure applications are running smoothly and delivering a positive user experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide day-to-day support for front-end web applications and related systems
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests
Investigate issues related to UI, functionality, and system performance
Liaise with internal teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues
Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Support minor enhancements, testing, and user training where required
