About the role Due to a recent internal promotion, we are recruiting a Head of Marketing who will lead the Marketing function to champion the STIHL brand identity, brand proposition and brand WHY to develop an activity program which drives consumer demand, market share and delivers on the business plan. This role has direct responsibility for the implementation of brand strategy, development and nurturing of CX, a digital ecosystem and Ecommerce platform launch. The position is responsible for developing a deep understanding of consumer segments and how to target them as well as pioneering new platforms to continuously evolve touchpoints in line with customer behaviours and Dealer network excellence. The incumbent will work closely with the Executive team to ensure alignment, collaboration and seamless execution of initiatives across the business and holds significant Budget and P&L responsibility. Key relationships Reporting to the Australian Managing Director. The role works closely with the Executive team and with Sales, Product, Retail team to drive flawless execution of Marketing strategy with both internal audiences and the Dealer network. Liaison with personnel from German HQ will be required, as will be working with external agencies for campaigns and communications to optimize brand footprint in the Australian market place. Head of Marketing to work closely with Head of Retail Experience on all elements of the consumer path to purchase. Key responsibilities Work closely with Executive Team exhibiting the STIHL Australia values, leadership principles to achieve the Vision and Mission for market leadership through Dealer operational excellence. Manage, develop and implement the marketing strategy to drive consumer demand and deliver the business plan KPIs, to be the market leading OPE brand in the market. Lead, develop, and coach the performance of Marketing team demonstrating Team critical behaviors at all times while providing clear direction and clarity. About you Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Marketing within a global or multi country remit. Business or Marketing Tertiary qualification. Strategic planning experience in B2 B and B2 C channels across Retail. Extensive Brand, Creative, Media, Social, Content and PR strategy to create winning demand generation CX. Complex cross functional project management experience. Development and management of Ecommerce platforms as well as maximizing revenue through platform. Strong understanding of matrix structures between global and local subsidiaries. Demonstrated Leadership capability. Strong analytical and reporting abilities. Effective problem solving and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What we offer At STIHL we offer so much more.
