Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality, evidence‑informed clinical services including risk management, brief intervention, care coordination, and referrals for clients with complex or multiple needs.
Maintain accurate, confidential client files including progress notes, care plans, risk assessments and case updates.
Build collaborative relationships with government agencies, community mental health services, ex‑service organisations and welfare providers.
Contribute to a recovery‑focused, stepped‑care model through strong stakeholder engagement.
Participate in case reviews and meetings to ensure coordinated and clinically appropriate support.
Maintain professional registration through ongoing CPD and clinical supervision.
Ensure practice aligns with legislation, risk procedures, and organisational policies.
Work with leadership to review and manage complex cases.
Support additional organisational needs such as:
Co‑facilitating group programs
Community development and service‑promotion activities
Program evaluation, research, and quality improvement
Providing quality assurance for contracted clinicians
Managing intake queues and coordinating service allocation
Conducting intake assessments to inform service pathways
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Competence in trauma‑informed, holistic assessment and brief intervention
High‑level written and verbal communication
Sound judgement and capacity to respond to critical incidents
Confidence using client management systems and digital tools
Mandatory Requirements
Working with Vulnerable People registration, or
Working with Children Check
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
Qualified Social Worker (AASW)
Masters‑level Counsellor registered with PACFA (Clinical) or ACA Level 3/4
