About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Personalisation, as a Product Owner, you will be responsible for supporting the build of a cutting-edge Machine Learning platform powering various use cases and playing a key role in partnering on product vision and leading execution across multiple teams.

This is a unique opportunity to work with data scientists and data engineers on complex topics adding real business value, identifying opportunities, and the most direct path to delivering these.

You are able to understand the customer problem to apply machine learning fundamentals and data, prioritising the development of new features.

To do so, we’re looking for data-obsessed leaders with an innate desire to problem solve and platform Machine Learning-led solutions to reach our goal of true 1:1 Personalisation.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with engineering & Data Scientists while working in an agile software development environment.
Obsess how we can further use data to improve the customer experience, particularly in the areas of promotional spend and ‘generosity’
Create a vision. You will be responsible for developing and driving the roadmap of an ML platform.
Manage the product process - from ideation and investigation, through to delivering and monitoring ongoing reporting
Coordinate a test and learn pipeline, identifying and reacting to the most valuable opportunities.
Understand and document module requirements. Prioritise feature requirements and expected release points.

Work closely with leadership teams to schedule and coordinate product releases.
Play a lead role in evolving our use of cross-functional agile teams. Help to facilitate backlog grooming sessions, organising designs, and creating tasks.
Manage expectations with wider teams, effectively communicating value driven and taking on feedback for further improvements
Skills and Experience
You will have proven experience in managing data products, ideally with Machine Learning or Data Science projects.
You will have both theoretical and practical knowledge of product management frameworks, processes and methodologies, with a proven record in defining product requirements based on research, data and insights.
Strong leadership skills to guide initiative teams through the delivery and governance life cycle
Ability to galvanise multi-disciplinary Agile teams to deliver strategic change
