As our PR & Communications Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in shaping our voice, amplifying our advocacy, and ensuring our messaging cuts through.
What You’ll Be Doing: Writing compelling media releases, reports, and advocacy materials Managing media relations and pitching stories that matter Monitoring the news cycle and driving public conversations Collaborating with community leaders and policy teams to tell authentic stories Strengthening Ab Sec’s presence across digital and traditional media What We’re Looking For: 2+ years’ experience in PR, media, or communications (bonus if it’s in an Aboriginal, NFP, or government setting) A way with words—strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills Ability to turn complex policy into stories that resonate Experience in media relations and advocacy campaignsThis is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to use your voice to drive change for the lives of Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
