As a pastoral care volunteer, you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church. Can you share faith, laughter, and fellowship with awarm-hearted soul?We’re seeking a pastoral care volunteer to visit a lovelywoman once a fortnight for connection, conversation, and shared moments offaith. She enjoys family catchups, reading, films, and attending Bible study. You’ll supplement andcomplement the work of our Hammond Care At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may:* Support people to meet their spiritual needs Skills required for this role:- High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills.- Pastoral Care training for example Chaplaincy, Clinical Pastoral Education, or you could attend Hammond Care pastoral care training- Spiritual Care Series, in preparation to becoming a pastoral care volunteer.
