Laverty Pathology is the subsidiary company of Healius Pathology Pty Ltd. Laverty Pathology is a comprehensive medical laboratory and pathology network with laboratory and patient pathology collection centre locations throughout NSW and ACT and is part of the Healius Pathology network of nationwide laboratories. Based at the main Laboratory in North Ryde, Laverty Pathology are looking to appoint a proactive, customer service driven, experienced office administrator to join our Commercials Department in the Permanent Part Time of 55hrs per fortnight in the position of Commercial Services Officer. In this position you will be able to utilise your strong client relations and administrative experience to grow a career with a highly reputable and diverse Healthcare Company as you demonstrate your capability to deliver Customer Service and Operational excellence for this ever growing department. About the role Reporting to the Commercial Services Co-ordinator, this role will provide essential internal administrative support, as well as act as the primary liaison for external clients and suppliers; providing professional, accurate and timely response, action and/ or resolution as required across a range of queries or concerns, always ensuring a positive service experience to demonstrate our commitment to excellence and build customer relationships. Your key responsibilities include (and not limited to): Maintaining and developing client relationships including account set up, management and queries, results delivery, monitoring business indicators and actioning changes, troubleshooting and resolving queries and providing continuing education; Liaising between Pathologists and Laboratory departments, at times outside of state; Troubleshooting and resolving queries from suppliers; Providing administrative support relating to Quality Management, Contract Tenders and otherwise as needed; and Assisting with the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of operational procedures and practices About you To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in building relationships, delivering consistent customer service excellence and in effective office administration. You will also demonstrate: Superior relationship building skills to grow customer rapport and foster long term business opportunities; Exceptional customer service and resolution skills; Excellent verbal and written communication; Strong organisational skills including the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities; Experience in effective troubleshooting; A positive attitude and innovative approach to the continuous improvement of service and operational efficiency; Keen attention to detail; The self- initiative and integrity to work productively with autonomy, ensuring all responsibilities are followed through to completion; and An understanding of scientific principles relating to laboratory methods or knowledge of AS4308 Urine Drug Screening would be highly regarded.
