The Trainee Program
You will undergo 4 weeks of theoretical and practical training covering:
- The lifecycle of a claim
- Medical treatment types and management
- Payment of medical expenses
- Weekly compensation entitlements
- Return to work obligations and facilitating early return to work
- The legal aspects of workers’ compensation
- Managing challenging conversations
During this period, you'll develop skills in:
- Arranging medical examinations
- Handling high volumes of client calls
- Assessing and processing payments
- Developing case management strategies
- Reviewing treatment requests
- Liaising with stakeholders
Further training over 12 months will expand your knowledge in injury management, return to work planning, dispute resolution, and law.
Applicant Requirements
If you have a background in customer service, medical administration, or recent qualifications in Law, Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or Psychology, this opportunity may suit you.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service experience, especially handling inquiries
- Medical administration or related industry experience is advantageous
- Ability to work across multiple platforms
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Teamwork and cultural sensitivity
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
You will be responsible for managing claims to ensure timely treatment, entitlements, and facilitating return to work, liaising with injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers.
