Presently the CVIS comprises the primary intelligence unit known as the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit (CVIU), and Prison Intelligence Unit's (PIU) located at the twelve public and two private prison facilities in Victoria. About the Role: The role of a Justice Officer – Administration (Intelligence Unit) is to assist the Prison Intelligent Unit in their daily activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and organisational requirements. Some of your duties will include: Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, working parties and reference groups as required Preparing routine correspondence, reports and maintaining numerous Excel databases Providing a range of high quality, confidential and efficient administrative services and support to the Prison Intelligence Unit (PIU).
