Utilise your Prison and Corrective Services expertise to provide support and advice to the Corrections Victoria branch An Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service About the Business Unit: Corrections Victoria Intelligence Service (CVIS) is the overarching intelligence service for Corrections Victoria (CV) and its stakeholders. Presently the CVIS comprises the primary intelligence unit known as the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit (CVIU), and Prison Intelligence Unit's (PIU) located at the twelve public and two private prison facilities in Victoria. About the Role: The role of a Justice Officer – Administration (Intelligence Unit) is to assist the Prison Intelligent Unit in their daily activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and organisational requirements. Some of your duties will include: Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, working parties and reference groups as required Preparing routine correspondence, reports and maintaining numerous Excel databases Providing a range of high quality, confidential and efficient administrative services and support to the Prison Intelligence Unit (PIU). About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of working within a correctional environment.
