Lead our Boys' Boarding house in a supportive and dynamic environment A pivotal role in the wellbeing and academic success of boarders Elevate your career at CGSAbout the Role The Head of Boys' Boarding supports the School’s boarding community in the overall well-being of the boarders by creating the warmth of a home away from home environment and providing pastoral and domestic support to boarders, their families, and the Boarding House team members. The successful candidate will exhibit warmth, care, emotional intelligence, and compassion. The Head of Boys' Boarding undertakes their duties with care, commitment, and enthusiasm, seeking to set a positive and energetic example within both the boarding and broader School Community. The successful applicant will uphold the School’s Anglican values and ethos while also respecting people of all backgrounds and faiths within the School community. About You You are dedicated, passionate, and possess the following: Willingness to foster a caring, nurturing, and respectful environment that creates a sense of “home away from home” for all students living in boarding. Strong attention to detail - following procedures and taking action when required. The ability to plan, organise, and manage a complex schedule. The ability to work collaboratively with CGS team members. The ability to implement initiatives, project delivery, and change management. Experience in the care of students and/or young people in a residential environment. Demonstrated understanding in handling sensitive and confidential matters. Experience in leading and managing teams. Administrative and organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. All team members at CGS are required to have: Appropriate qualifications A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card A current National Police Check Full working rights within Australia.
