About the role:This patient-facing role reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for leading our administration team in providing high levels of service to patients, doctors, and clinical teams. It involves team management, billing, data entry, auditing, rostering, site maintenance, training, development, and daily activities oversight. The position is full-time, working 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 5:30 pm, with flexible arrangements by negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer a warm, safe, and supportive environment for stakeholders, including patients, doctors, and visitors
- Supervise and support the administration team, providing ongoing training opportunities
- Ensure timely patient appointments and effective reception services
- Recruit and process Medicare & private billing accurately and compliantly
- Maintain accurate patient records and privacy standards
- Participate in facility accreditation processes
- Implement practice changes and quality improvements
- Manage resources to meet KPIs and targets under the Site Manager's guidance
- Collaborate with other site leaders to deliver high-quality patient care
We seek an enthusiastic Medical Administration Manager with excellent presentation and customer service skills, motivated and positive. You should be capable of managing daily administration activities and supporting multiple sites if needed. If this describes you, we'd love to hear from you.
Skills & Experience:- Leadership experience in service provision to patients or customers
- Understanding of health administration in a high-care medical environment
- Autonomous and team-working abilities, with effective workload planning
- Time management skills
- Experience in training and development programs
- Proven ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders
- Strong computer skills and a focus on continuous improvement
- Knowledge of healthcare legislative requirements (desirable)
- Management and leadership qualifications or training (desirable)
