Accounts Officer required for an onsite 6 month contract position in Fremantle.
MARS Recruitment is partnering with a long-standing and reputable company in Fremantle to recruit an experienced Finance & Payroll Officer for a 6-month contract. This role offers variety across payroll, accounts, reconciliations, and financial support, within a collaborative and supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Create and manage purchase orders
Bank and debit card reconciliations
Payroll tax, PAYG, BAS & superannuation lodgements
Maintain fixed asset register
Assist with month-end, audit, FBT, R& D, and tax reporting
Support the Finance Manager and broader finance team
Contribute to efficient and collaborative team processes
About You
Experience across payroll, AP, AR and reconciliations
Strong understanding of statutory lodgements
High accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Able to work collaboratively and adapt in a busy environment
